More About This Recipe
- Often when I'm entertaining, I focus on making fabulous dishes and completely forget about the beverages. One day when my kids were drinking pink milk (milk with strawberry syrup) and having a great time, I realized that an imaginative drink makes even the simplest meals fun! So, we whipped up these Candy Corn Coolers one day and they were such a huge hit! Can't you see these at your Autumn get-togethers? They are incredibly easy to make and everyone enjoys the fun flavors. All you need is orange juice or lemonade, Torani orange syrup and aerosol whipped cream. We've tried using both orange juice and lemonade and both taste great. If you're looking for orange syrup, try calling one of your local coffee shops (they often carry a lot of flavored syrups). If they won't sell you any, they can direct you to a store in town that carries it.To make, simply fill your glasses half full with orange juice. Next, carefully pour in orange syrup until you have the desired amount (it will sink to the bottom). Tip: Make sure you pour in the juice FIRST, otherwise your colors will blend together. Top with whipped cream swirled up to form a point. Voila! Candy Corn! We're planning on letting the kids (and adults!) make these at the Thanksgiving Dinner table.
